If we crack open the moon, will a giant yolk fall out?

It does look like a giant egg

    No

The Moon's core is solid, but there is still a 30 kilometer thick layer around the core that has not completely solidified and crystallized yet. Seismic shear waves will not travel through it. That is how we know it is liquid.

The reason the Moon is slightly egg shaped is a second smaller moon impacted the Moon's far side after it formed, but at a velocity high enough to shatter it but part the debris din not reach escape velocity and fell back onto the he Moon on the Farside.

The question may have been sarcastic, but it is a legitimate knowledge seeking question. 😅
