Should I sell my Helios and Matheson Stock? I own 250 shares. The company shut down on Saturday.?

Helios and Matheson shut down Saturday and I am wondering if someone else might buy them out and stock will be worth more I have been seeing that it has been going up for today.

Talk to your broker about writing them off to take the tax loss, learn from your mistake about investing in stories instead of learning about a company's fundamentals before investing.

Try to sell it as fast as you can.

Is the stock still listed on an exchange? If yes, you can sell it if someone wants to buy it. No clue why someone would pay a $7 commission to buy 250 shares of stock that are worth about fifty cents total.

ETA: The company's assets will be sold but that isn't going to do stockholders any good.

If someone else might buy the company and subsequently the price will increase or can no one buy the company because it shut down?
