Using 12% for this exercise, we will multiply .12 times 25.3605 and come up with 3.04326‬ ounces of ethyl alcohol. I'd drop the decimals and say there are 3 ounces of alcohol in a 750 ml bottle of wine. Oh, and that's measuring the alcohol by volume, because alcohol weighs a bit less than the other ingredients.

    All answers WRONG - there are 25 oz approx of WINE not alcohol in a 750ml bottle.. The alcohol by volume for wine is between about 11-13 percent. So 25 X .12 (avg) = 3 oz of 180 proof alcohol per 750ml.
