Bleeding a little after losing virginity?

Lost my virginity last night and there was a bit of blood when I wiped. When I was younger I was told it was normal, but now people are telling me it isn’t normal? He was slightly big/thick, but would you say it’s okay to bleed a little? I’m not in any pain or anything now, it hurt at first but then it was more comfortable

It's normal to bleed the first time having sex. It should be okay if it stops after a few days. If not you might want to see a doctor.

You can bleed more if your hymen is thicker and attached more sturdy so that when it is punctured, the tearing will be more profuse and so it would bleed more. Some girls rupture/tear it before ever having sex, by sports activities and such and never realize it, thinking it was spotting from a period

Some woman bleed a little bit after losing their virginity - others don't. Either one is completely normal.

It's very normal. In a super ideal world where young men are patient lovers (and haven't learned bad moves designed for camera over comfort from porn) you could be super aroused and bleed nary a drop and the only sore you'd be is the sore of having done unaccustomed exercise. But the world is as it is and early sex for young men and women is a bit fumbly, awkward and occasionally sore. It gets better, faster the comfortable you are about expressing your likes and dislikes.

Congrats on starting uni, it's a learning curve. Don't let boys get away with not using condoms, pregnancy isn't your only worry. At least being away from home going to the GUM clinic less fraught.

Its very normal, you should only be concerned if it doesn't go away in a few days or less.

Congratulations!! Are you hoping for a boy or girl? Give my best to your future husband :]

It's normal to have a little bleeding because of the hymen being broke.
