No. An orphan is a child who has no living parents. Adoption usually means the bio mother and/or father could not care for you like they wanted and wanted something better for you. So they chose adoption to give you a better chance with a mother and father who wanted a child very much.

    Everyone has parents.

As an adoptee, I have an original mother and father with whom I share DNA, and an adoptive mother and father who raised me.

Adoptive parents are parents just like the biological ones.

If your biological parents died before adoption, then you have adoptive parents and don't have biological parents.

No. Why would it mean that? It means you were chosen by the people who adopted you. They WANTED you. Not every child with bio parents raising them can say that.
