How long do roofers work until?

I ask because I'm trying to get on with a roofing company, but I have an evening job I work a few nights a week, and I can't work past seven pm idk if they'd let me leave the site early etc. I live in Florida if that helps.

They work any hours rom Sun up to Sun down,

UNLESS the city has an Ordinance regarding Noise. Usually (in my state) 8 am to 10 pm, some cities 8pm.

It is a matter of your personal arrangements with the Boss.

As a Trade, the job is still subject to the Wage & Hour limitations.

An Eight (8) hour work day, with an time period for lunch after the first Four (4) hours. So a standard day would be like 8 am to 5 pm with an hour (off the clock), or less, for lunch. Could work longer hours, but a weeks work is 40 hours at normal pay.

Good luck being on a roof at dawn and then working an evening job.

    Sunrise to sunset...probably no exceptions.

You'll earn good money roofing if you're any good...

That is an exhausting job. Are you capable of getting up at dawn, working until dusk, and then going to a second job? Every day?

    I don't think that's a smart plan.

I sincerely doubt a roofer would work past dusk. When you're on a roof, you should be able to see what you're doing.

In my neck of the woods it varies seasonally based on weather and daylight.

They certainly don't work in the dark.

They all have their own working hours - you'd have to ask.
