Why is Federal revenue increasing, after Trump and the Republican Congress instituted Federal tax cuts?

Update:

We all know it's easy for Congress to overspend.

    More people working means a larger tax base, more businesses mean a larger tax base.

    Because Trump is insincere about trimming spending. Like Raygun, he cuts taxes but increases the debt so he can spend on what he wants. Republicans are excellent at deferring cost by passing it on to future administrations. This is extremely cynical, but don't tell anyone you found out.

    When you put a 25% tax on 100’s of billions of imports, that money goes directly to the Treasury.

    It has been steadily rising for 10 years. I think people moving to the USA bringing money with them.
