Should the founding day of Centrelink be a public holiday?

    I used to work in Centrelink. I say yes!

    Centrelink began on 24 September 1997. I also remember there was a strike on that day - what a beginning!

    It was back in 1997. October I believe, the most glorious day ever. Yes a national celebration of dole bludging would be good.
