How come Christians don't believe in the SCIENCE of evolution?

There are certain things like the Cambrian explosion, abrupt appearance and stasis in the fossil record, living fossils, extreme convergent evolution, the limits to artificial selection, nanotechnology in the cell, the amazing requirements of changing from single-celled life to true multicellular life, the difficulty of evolution producing features that require multiple mutations before gaining a benefit, etc. that cause us to find Darwinian evolution unlikely.

Evolution is not science, silly. If only because evolution cannot be observed, much less duplicated.

I don't deny that genetic changes occur. What I point out is that the trends of atheistic evolution are to weakness, disease, and death. Half of all mutations are fatal. Only one in 100 is even weakly beneficial.

Science has sought the collapse of the Bible, and it has made the creation account its chief target and evolutionary theories its flaming arrows. These burning missiles have reduced to ashes the unfounded faith of multitudes, but they have not penetrated the shield of true faith. (Eph. 6:16) Why, even advancing scientific knowledge quenches evolution’s fiery darts! Evolutionists at one time held strange ideas about spontaneous generation of life, but new knowledge forced them to abandon such theories.

They claimed characteristics acquired from environment were passed on to offspring, but had to relinquish this attractive theory when modern genetics proved such were not inheritable. In arguing for the survival of the fittest, Darwin failed to explain the arrival of the fittest, which is the key problem. Hugo de Vries explained the arrival of small, inheritable changes in life forms by mutations, but now science is saddened to discover that these rare mutations are harmful instead of helpful, and could possibly account for a degeneration or deterioration, a devolution downward, but not an evolution upward.

But if science allowed itself to be stripped of these past contentions its theory of evolution would be bankrupt, and such state of bankruptcy it will not honestly declare. So propagandizing evolutionists still offer these falsehoods as fodder for a gullible and uninformed public.

And the rain poured down and the floods came and the winds blew and lashed against that house, but it did not cave in, for it had been founded upon the rock-mass.”—Matt. 7:24, 25, NW.

Evolution is a theory not based on 100% Fact.

The ancient scriptures are older and it’s not a science textbook but it agrees with science where evolution does not.

Evolution is a imperfect human concept that is confusing and makes No sense.

The ancient scriptures make sense and is very simple for even a child to understand.

Evolution is just an Lie to stop people from belief in a Creator. One of Satans deep seated lies to prevent people to believe in God.

Yet it is sad that people lie to kids about Santa 🎅, makings kids grow up to lie.

Christians do. Fundamentalist Protestants don't, because scientific truths conflict with their misinterpretations of the Bible. Jesus Christ founded one Church, said it was to remain one, and promised that one Church the fullness of God's truth until the end to time. Therefore, as you would expect, the teaching of that one Church (which includes well over half of all Christians) never conflicts with natural truths revealed by science. Truth cannot conflict with truth.

For the same reasons I don't believe in the "SCIENCE" of spontaneous generation and that it is mathematically impossible.

How come YOU don't know that for over fifty years the majority of us Christians have accepted evolution as a part of God's design?
