Mind eye discomfort but no other systems . What could this be?

I've been to the doctor's one and got some eye drops. They didn't help, it's not dry eyes, and it's not a forgein object, as I've tried many times to wash it.

I've got no soreness, no redness, no blurred vision .

If feels like there is something in there but I can't see.anything there and I've.used a wash 10's of times.

What could it be? It's.just a mild annoying pain

Fried nerves. Seriously. A viral infection can cause nerve hypersensitivity and this may be something that your brain normally disregards.

It's probably a minor infection. That feels like you have something in your eye. Continue applying the drops as advised. Don't keep washing it as this will counteract the drops. If it hasn't cleared up after all the drops have been used visit your doctor again,
