What's wrong with having a simple job?

Update:

I've spent 10 years trying to find a

straight-forward, entry-level career; there aren't any

...at least here in California. I looked into math-tutoring...

they want a college-degree and still pay minimum-wage.

I looked into massage-therapy...everyone tells me that job has

a high burn-out rate. 90% of those workers quit after 5 years.

Update 2:

I looked into bookkeeping - computers are

taking over that industry. I looked into library-assistant,

they're aren't any openings. I looked into

computer-support. That's too complicated for me.

I might as well go work at the Coffee-Bean. At

least there I can get tips and live on $2,000/month.

Honestly the job markets are ridiculously competitive, you have people going to college spending all this money to get educated only to end up jobless. It's no surprise that people just want to have a simple job and live a simple lifestyle. Don't feel bad about what you're doing. The economy sucks, its very competitive, and the whole system of money and the way we live isn't natural to begin with.

there is NOTHING wrong with it.

Its just can you live off of it,

BTW, the job market up here In Oregon is VERY overrated!!! Ive applied to many decent jobs and to no avail, i have a very decent work history.

Apparently I don't have the connections or the cute looks.

what kind of question it is ? if you have good skill you will surely reach the apex of succsess.

  • There's nothing wrong with it if you like the job and it pays the bills.

My job is entry level ware house work. It's hard work but a relatively easy job.

I get payed $16 per hr which is more money then I've earned in any job I've had. I like the job too, I'm not there just for the money. Some entry level jobs like retail or fast food, don't pay enough or give you enough hours to cover your expenses.

Absolutely nothing. You've probably noticed by now that the ones who sneer at you and look down on you are all conservatives and Republicans. Liberals and progressives know there is nothing wrong with working at an honest job. Republicans?? Not so much.....

There's nothing wrong with but simple jobs do not usually pay the bills.
