Does shower sex increase the chances of pregnancy?
I know there's a myth that shower sex decreases the chance of pregnancy, but what about the opposite? Does the steam from the shower help with the chances of conception?

WHERE you have sex doesn't increase your chances of pregnancy./

NO, it lowers the chance. When guys take showers, the warm/hot water affects the semen and the sperm.
Sperm vs. Semen
Some people use the terms sperm and semen interchangeably. But sperm cells are only one component. Semen also contains substances from the prostate and a pair of rabbit ear-shaped organs inside the pelvis called the seminal vesicles.
Sperm cells - which are made in the testicles - need lots of high-octane fuel to whip their tails. Lucky for them (and us), sperm get the fuel they need in the form of sugar fructose, which is supplied by the seminal vesicles. Fluid from the prostate contains chemicals that cause semen to liquefy once it's inside the female. Without it, sperm would be locked in place and unable to swim. Sperm cells are carried out of the male body in a fluid known as semen. Human sperm cells can survive within the female reproductive tract for more than 5 days post coitus. Semen is produced in the seminal vesicles, prostate gland and urethral glands.

How exactly do you think steam outside the body impacts the inside of the vagina/uterus?
- Common SenseLv 74 months ago
Sex without birth control increases the chances of pregnancy and THAT IS IT.
There is no position or trick or any other thing that causes pregnancy other than a woman being fertile when she has sex without birth control.
Proven, since he beginning of time when people engage in sex.

How many myths have you heard in your life about any matters, especially sexual and pregnancy matters? Have they all proven to be true? There are numerous myths about the best positions to get pregnant, or not get pregnant. None bears statistical analysis.

Sorry? How would you think it would work either way. Steam from the shower does not enter your vagina. There is a myth that having sex standing up is a form of birth control -- but that isn't true either.
What increases the chance of pregnancy is not using contraception.
And what DECREASES it is using reliable contraception. Every time.

It has no effect one way or the other.

That is just it, a myth. The shower stream isn’t washing sperm from inside the vagina either, but standing up will cause some of it to drip out faster
