Eye color?

How did my daughter get blue eyes if the mother has green and the father has hazel?

    my mother has brown eyes and my dad had green eyes. All us 5 kids got green eyes and one sister got blue eyes (probably from a grandparent).

    your family's and ancestor's dna carries genes for different eye colors. it could skip a generation or more.
