What are your opinions on "ca" sounding names being spelled with the letter K when it's usually spelled with the letter C?
I'm talking about names like Kari (Carrie), Kristina (Christina), Krystal (Crystal), Kourtney (Courtney), Kaitlyn (Caitlyn)?

I think it looks harsh, but don't listen to me. I have synaesthesia when it comes to letters and numerals. They each have colours and personalities - K is stand offish, 5 is a bully. I can't really look at just letters and numerals without getting carried away in a private soap opera. C though is always classy, but then again, I'm biased.

In the English language the letter 'c' followed by 'a', 'o' or 'u' is pronounced hard, like 'k'.
The letter 'c' followed by 'e' or 'i' is pronounced soft , like 's'.
The use of 'K' is German in origin.

I like the C versions. They're more elegant and classic.

Often the difference comes from different cultures. I couldn't care less.
