Why won’t the United Nations let Taiwan join? They’re not very united. I guess they don’t like diversity. The commie liberal rats.?

The cabal of dictators who run the UN see no personal advantage for themselves in that.

Source(s): Most governments who belong to the UN are dictatorships by anyone's standards.

A stupid question like this proves you know nothing about world affairs, nor world history. A few decades, Red China was unable to join the UN, and Taiwan was treated as the "official" Chinese government. The US championed Taiwan, but eventually gave up because almost every other country in the world wanted the mainland in the UN.

After a series of negotiations, the UN allowed mainland China to take the place of Taiwan as the representative of China - and it also became a member of the Security Council. Taiwan was kicked out of the UN.
