I have a 2017 ford escape, with 20000 miles on it, the 2 front tires are cupped, anyone have any thoughts on this.?

Yes, I have thoughts, you should not be surprised.

Cupped tires are a symptom of bad alignment. That's what I've always heard. And that's what I've always seen.

Could be out of alignment. Has the car had any accident history in the past? or did you buy it new? If you bought it new then there must be a manufacture defect.

Cupping of the tires normally indicates that the struts/shocks are bad. Take it back to the dealer and ask them to replace the struts.

Your Escape is still under warranty, so have it inspected by a dealer. Keep in mind that tires NEVER live up to their full warranty. If you've got a set with a 60K guarantee, expect to replace them at about 50K.

get a front-end alignment THEN get new front tires ....................

More than likely your struts need replacing.
