Those are two important steps - but you left out the one that counts the most: Come up with a new, valuable, and irresistible idea of some kind that uses a computer in a new and totally different way. Then do the development and sell that software. THAT's how you turn into a billionaire.

It may help to find errors like this faster if you put the open brace on the same line as the IF statement. It may draw you eye to that line much quicker. Love the way you comment your code, though. Keep it up! 👍

It doesn't. Selling is what potentially turns you into a billionaire, with the emphasis on what to sell. Generally speaking, capturing market share is what potentially leads to billion are status and it is usually not a single market but multiple markets. Look at a company like Amazon, they keep adding to what they do and making it difficult for competitors to compete.

As with anything here in the universe, transforming you into a billionaire does not depend on what you learn. Instead, it depends highly on what you do.

After you lean how to code and be very very good at it you start your own company and sell your product making sure you get a percentage of all the software you license to other companies to use.

That is what Bill Gates did.

You need more than that. Generally, if you have to ask, then you don't have what it takes.
