Late one evening in Durkee, OR, a husband and wife noticed a strange car parked in the driveway of a house their neighbors reside in periodically. Curious, the woman called her neighbor to check with them. Discovering the house was supposed to be empty, the woman's husband retrieved his shotgun and headed to the neighbor's house. After Security Officers in St. Louis prevented an intoxicated, argumentative man from entering a balllpark, that man turned his attention to a passing motorist. A conversation ensued between the drunk man and the motorist. As the motorist tried to drive away, the drunk man became violent, leaning through the vehicle's window and punching the driver in the face. The driver was an armed citizen. In Corpus Christi, TX, officers were called to an apartment to treat a young woman for non-life threatening injuries. Earlier in the evneing, a man answered the door to his apartment to discover two men and two women asking him to lend them as money for someone he knew personally. Pepper spraying the man, the four intruders forced their way into his home. In self-defense, the armed citizen drew his firearm and shot several rounds to protect himself, striking one of the women.
