Is Sonic the Hedgehog 1 the only game that had that "Special Magical Feel"?Your opinion?
For example, Mario 1 had that Magical Memorable feel to it..... And then you thought they couldnt do it again...but they did....with Mario 2 and 3 and Mario 64 and many many more. But i feel like Sonic never accomplished this. The first Sonic game for the Sega Genesis had that "Special Magical" feeling....but after that they were repetative, forgetable, and no other game ever managed to capture that feeling. Do you agree? Or do you know a game that did accomplish that feeling?

SEGA missed what Nintendo did and never built on anything for Sonic, too many attempts to 'change the formula' and too many attempts to make Sonic 'fresh and new'. Sonic Mania was the most successful Sonic game in 13 years if even that. Let's not forget Sonic '06 exists.

What an inane idea.

Maybe you’re high, sonic 2 was seen as a huge improvement over the first and sonic 3 & knuckles is a very loved sequel to that, even the sonic adventure games is loved by sonic fans. There’s been bad sonic games but people like colors, generations, and the day stages in sonic unleash.
And you might say “Amy, the only people who like the sonic sequels and think they are memorable are the sonic fan base” well, same could be said about the mario sequels, seriously, no one, no one considers mario two as memorable or a classic, it’s the black sheep. Mario 3 is a good game but it wasn’t no where near as successful as the original, Mario 64 is the first of its kind but looking at it in rose colored glasses it isn’t as great as people remember.
