Given the number of people dying on boats around the world due to the fact that water can kill you, isn't it past time that we ban all boats?

It is time to regulate and control them -- which we do. Of all the things that kill, from boats to cars to electrical wiring, only guns are are unregulated and uncontrolled as guns are.

Boats have other good uses , like shipping, transport etc.

But, are you saying that guns should be regulated like ships? Excellent idea - required ongoing training, strict licensing and registration. liability insurance , safety checks, penalties for operating irresponsibly ......

I agree 100% with this scholarly gentleman. We should eradicate the entire U.S. Constitution and suppress government tyranny by sailing away from it.

People like the ones in your link die in accidents, therefore we should ban accidents.

    Good one.

Fewer people deliberately killed with jetliners than with AR-15s.

We should ban water, or at least assault water. There's no justification for there being such large bodies of water than can kill dozens or hundreds of innocent people at a time.

Boats aren't designed to kill, nobody is going to walk into a mall and start throwing boats at people

We have boating regulations that protect thousands of lives every day. Isn't it time we had regulations for guns as well?

Your lame argument refuted and returned. Checkmate.
