Yes, there is a purpose to life. God put us here to separate the good from the bad.

This life in the flesh is a short life and a step to the eternal life if you make the right choices.

The Bible states we are to keep God's commandments and to Love God and to Love our neighbors.

If you do this then you have done well and are on your way to eternal life.

    Matthew 22

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,

    and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

    Ecclesiastes 12:13

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments:

for this is the whole duty of man.”

According to the Bible, God created man and woman. The first man, Adam, is thus described as a son of God.

Man was created for a purpose to build a friendship with his heavenly Father and to live happily and productively on earth forever.

To that end, all humans are endowed with a spiritual capacity, that is, a natural desire to want to learn about God.

Hence, the Bible states: “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need.”
