It's not a head scratcher if you know anything about her history before Bill won the presidency. At the time she was on the board she was the First Lady of Arkansas. But she was also a partner in Rose Law Firm, the most powerful law firm in Arkansas (and the oldest law firm west of the Mississippi). Among Rose's clients were TCBY (another company whose board Clinton served on) and, more importantly, Wal-Mart. At the time, Sam Walton was facing public pressure to name a woman to the Board of Directors. So it makes sense that he'd appoint Hilllary Clinton who was politically connected and a partner at a law firm the company used.

She was married to the Governor of Arkansas, Walmart is based in Arkansas.

Just another unearned position for the queen of entitlement.

If not for Bill she would be a cheap slip and fall lawyer

Why does that not compute for you? Trump has multiple businesses- why shouldn't Hillary be on the board of a company that started in Arkansas? Did you know that companies with women on the boards have done much better financially over the past 10-11 years?
