Does the boat title indicate whether my 50 hp Yamaha is a 2 stroke or 4 stroke?

    No. You can change an outboard motor in 5 minutes.

    No, but the model # of the outboard does. If the model # on the ID plate begins with an "F", it's a 4 stroke.

    Boat title is for the hull, not the engine.
