Why did we allow political parties (Both D&R) to usurp power from the people and concentrate it into the hands of the rich and powerful?

The Democratic and Republican parties both only care about themselves and enriching their constituents, they're both hopelessly corrupt and the American people are hopelessly diluted into believing they have any representation in the government.

This divide was manufactured by the party heads, intentionally, to keep people fighting so they can retain control over the nation rather than vote independent.

Because too many good people have not been paying attention for too long now and things have gotten out of hand.

However, many good people are starting to wake up and realize what has been happening and are seeking to change that.

There's a formula not known to the public. Smart minds got together and thunked up how to be rich. The only thing is we humans break things, so eventually that will be broken. We also fix things.

You are a little off. People voted Democrat because the Democratic party is expert at being mind-flayers- liberalism is easy because it does not require thought, it requires FEELINGS which is what the Democrats swayed public opinion as the focus. A subtle thing like that helped the Democrats to corrupt the system; they were allowed as leaders to think that the public was basically prone to suggestion.

This pattern has gone on for a long time. But the Democrats in power have laughed about this too long, people are becoming aware of how awful the Democrats are at governing.

I'm not a Republican for particular reasons, plural. But the Republicans got scared, lazy and quiet. So I'm not just down on Democrats. I think Trump is the best thing to happen to the Republicans and America since Newt Gingrich.

Watch out for those who want government to be bigger. I find it's easier to spot the criminals and elite in that way. Forget about Democrat and Republican. Watch out for big government politicians if you want to retain the US constitution and your freedom.

Poor quality citizens, unwilling to participate in the process, and those that do often simply accept whatever their party presents to them as fact.

The reason? Because we have failed to reconstitute the federal government. We have allowed it to grow and grow and grow. All institutions ... be it a church, a business or a government ... grow to a point that the institution is more concerned with its "life" ... with its continuation ... than its original mission. Thomas Jefferson recommended a revolution every 25 years. That doesn't necessarily mean a shooting revolution ... a Constitutional Convention every 25 years would help to keep government in its place and remind it who is in charge.

The founders warned us about this. Complacency among the population is the main reason. This allowed the birth of the establishment. And this is why establishment members of both parties hate Trump.
