inequalities help please?

the point (3,8) and (6.8) are part of the solution region of the quadratic inequality while (5.9) and (7.7) are not. the point that must also be part of the solution region is

a) (4.7)

b) (4.9)

c) (8.6)

d) (6.10)

    If (5,9) being just above the segment formed by the two given solution point is not a solution then the point just below the segment (4,7) must be given the containment of the quadratic by both given non-solutions.

    a) (4, 7)

    The points (3,8), (6,8), and (4.7) can be contained within a horizontal parabola concave to the left while the other referenced points are outside the parabola. One such parabola that meets that condition is:

    x = 6.5 - 2.3(y-7.8)^2
