Will i still burn calories if i go slow when exercising?

im trying my best to do more cardio at the gym but I find it very difficult and a lot of the time (usually on the bike or cross trainer) I find my self going at a slow pace because it's hard. Will i still lose weight or do i need to push myself to stay at a high intensity?

You burn calories every second of the day, just to breathe.

Living and breathing burns calories. There is no point in hurting yourself.

Yes just not as much. You should start out slow, then slowly start pushing yourself to go faster over time that way it'll get easier.

You still burn some calories when you are sitting reading a book, you just use a lot less of them.
