Hey, most dogs die in 12-16 years.

    Also, learn to spell "given."

If not God who do you say is "GIVIN" out this life expectancy? And how do you define "short".

God exists. A person can know this with certainty by way of having true devotion to the Virgin Mary.

We have short lives given to us by god, therefor god exists [sic]. Really. Please report to Dr. McCoy in sick bay.

Actually we are living much longer than we did way back. We have evolved to live twice as long and I think in the future we may live even longer.

Bible stories were written by ancient Jews who most likely ripped them off from other cultures and were never more than just legends to begin with. They were probably drug induced hallucinations of primitive savages who had absolutely no idea what caused things like lightning, plagues, disease, and rainbows etc. So they made up legends to explain them. These legends evolved into the foundation of religions.

If there is a God why can't anyone prove there is?

Sea cucumbers and some tortoises live to be 150 to 200 years. Would you rather be a sea cucumbers or a tortoise?

Humans actually live quite long, if compared to a lot of other animals.
