What should my refund be on my 1040x?
I filed my 2017 taxes and found that I had about $4043 withheld and only owed $2523, so I got a refund of about $1520 way back in 2017 as photo1 shows.
When filing my 2018 taxes, I discovered that I missed schedule E back in 2017. So I decided to file 1030x to revise my 2017 taxes. The schedule E only reduced my AGI by about $900. So I would owe $2388 to its not $2523. I quickly filled it in a few minutes but then my refund portion came out to be about $1655 as shown in photo2. This is where I think a problem may be because I already got $1520 given to me. So is the line showing $1655 correct or not? Should it show around $135, am thinking something may not be right.

$1520 less than what you put on the 1040X.
You missed line 18. The amount of your original refund ($1520) goes on line 18, which then lowers line 19 by the same amount, so it will be about $135.

Why all people here ask about taxes ?

You get the difference between the two, or $135

$135, the amount you didn't already get on your original filing.
