Why don't the police patrol the dark web for criminal activity?

I know the dark web is supposed to be like 100 times bigger than the internet and it's impossible to police. But I keep seeing stuff about human trafficking, drug dealing, arms deals, real snuff videos, and junk happening on the dark web. The police might not be able to patrol it, but surely if it's that easy to find this stuff on the dark web, the police would be making arrests left and right.

you really believe police exist for any purpose other than assuring the power and rule of the permanent rulers?

My guess is that police paid by the states have no jurisdiction in other countries.

Obviously they would be looking for local criminal activity. But surely if they came across something outside their jurisdiction they would notify whomever has jurisdiction.
