Why is atheism America's greatest enemy?

Atheists think they have a mandate to "spread the word", proselytize, and convert others (hence Sunday Assembly Churches). Atheists refuse to allow others to live their own lives and atheists seek total dominion. The atheist left has used this to influence our government, to demand atheism classes in public schools, to change the motto on our currency and to rewrite anything non atheist in the Pledge of Allegiance. It seeks nothing less than to convert the U.S. into an atheist theocracy.

It isn't, but Christianity is a danger.

because a country without God, like a person without God, is doomed.

And, as for you, antonius, A 2010 Pew Research Center study found that 84% of us are religiously affiliated. That would work out to about 5.985 billion people that are religiously affiliated and 1.14 billion that are not. So, you should do a little research before posting or you can't be believed.

It's all in your mind. How does it help the country to add "under God" to the Pledge of Allegiance (not that the pledge itself is helpful)? You either support the USA or you don't and reciting a pledge does nothing. And what does "In God we trust" accomplish? Is the meaning that all others pay cash?

Atheists don't proselytize nearly as much as Christians do. The same amendment that gives us freedom of religion should also give us freedom FROM religion. What would the yahoos holding up signs saying "John, 3:16" (or whatever the number is) at a football game say if someone held up a sign saying "Go, Cowboys" in the middle of a church service?

As far as schools go, all atheists, agnostics, and intelligent theists want is for people to be taught to think logically and to demand evidence to support any positive assertion.

Thanks for proving my thought on this to be true. I thought he did something like that as he does it often.

Funny how much projection is in your question. The actions you describe, that you so rightly vilify, are those of Christians in the USA. It is Christians who "think they have a mandate to "spread the word", proselytize, and convert others," and who "refuse to allow others to live their own lives" and seek total dominion. The Christian right has used this to influence our government, to demand Bible classes in public schools, to change the motto on our currency and to rewrite the Pledge of Allegiance. It seeks nothing less than to convert the U.S. into a theocracy.

At least it shows you know you're wrong to do those things.

There is nothing wrong with atheism; Atheism simply means disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods and there is nothing evil about that.

It isn't. The slide toward fascism and right wing extremism is more of a problem. A philosophy that there is no God harms no one in and of itself.

What actual "atheist classes" have you ever seen in a public school?

I don't think atheism is America's greatest enemy. I think Christianity is.
