Is it the right time to plant flower bulbs in New Jersey?

    For New Jersey plant flower bulbs in the fall in late september to early october, 6 to 8 weeks before the first hard frost...if you plant too early they will start to grow and not produce flowers, they need the cold of winter (stratification) to bloom.
