According to some sources out of the 11 million that were massacred in the holocaust, 6 million of them were Jews. Was the focus not on Jews?

Was it mainly focused on Jews, or several people in general. Thank you.

The analogy by one answerer of the pie-chart makes the picture clear. Out of 11 million, ONE group, the Jews, formed more than half the victims.

There were plenty of other victims, but each group of them formed a much smaller section of the chart than the Jewish group.

Mainly Jews yes and they were easy targets because many of the countries that were conquered by the Germans collaborated with them and hunted down their own Jews. Jews were disliked for centuries all over Europe. Especially Eastern Europe were the Jews suffered the most in WW2.

"Was the focus not on Jews? "

Yes, there was a specific focus of the Nazis on the Jews, even though it is true they also killed many others as well.

Yes, the focus was on Jews, but other groups were certainly targeted.

AJ, you should see the movie "Rocketeer" starring Bill Campbell, not just for the prettiest haircut a guy ever had, but also for the best but . . . the DVD "Hitler's Great Escape" for its ending too. There was more than one focus in the Third Reich just as there is now in Trump's Fourth.

Source(s): "The Rocketeer" starring Jennifer Connelly. DVD: "Hitler's Great Escape". Books about Errol Flynn's career as a Nazi spy. "IBM and the Holocaust". Bryan Rigg: "Hitler's Jewish Soldiers". Lothar Mactan's "The Hidden Hitler".

There is a reason the main focus is always on the Jews.

It was the Zionists who declared war on Germany (1933). And the events that followed were summarized by ultra-Orthodox Jewish groups like Neturei Karta and the Satmar Hasidim who gave the following dissemination:

"We implore and beseech our Jewish brethren to realize that the Zionists are not the saviors of the Jewish People and guarantors of their safety, but rather the instigators and original cause of Jewish suffering in the Holy Land and worldwide. The idea that Zionism and the State of "Israel" is the protector of Jews is probably the greatest hoax ever perpetuated on the Jewish people.

It has been the age-old intention of Zionism to intentionally stir up anti-semitism anywhere possible, and even more commonly, to take advantage of any Jewish suffering anywhere in order to enhance its cause. Indeed, hatred of Jews and Jewish suffering is the oxygen of the Zionist movement, and from the very beginning has been used to deliberately incite hatred of the Jew and then, in feigned horror, used to justify the existence of the Zionist state. This is, of course, Machiavellianism raised to the highest degree."

Those who dismiss this choose to ignore the fact that there is a difference between "Zionism" and "Judaism". Zionism is political while Judaism is religious. And as clearly practiced in the United States, there is a distinct separation between the two - "church and state". The Zionists interests are political unless they can feed their agenda using religion.

To put this into the proper context, the Zionists created the situation (declared war on Germany) so that they could "feign horror" at the resulting deaths of so many Jewish victims. They use this as justification for their self-proclaimed position as "ambassadors" to all of Judaism (which, as seen here, is not the case).

Thus, the Jews are the main focus. To disagree with the Holocaust narrative is "antisemitism" - which only protects Jews and none of the other ethnic people who also perished. The Holocaust memorial in Auschwitz is "all about the Jews". The word "Holocaust" itself is exclusive to the Jews and no one else.

You could definitely say the main focus was Jews. If you think about it as a pie chart the portion of victims that were Jews makes up over half the pie. The other less than half is made up of numerous groups each one being only small slices.

It was focused on jews, and communists, disabled, homosexuals, journalists, trade unionists, other policitical parties,in fact anyone who disgreed with hitler's regime, people were paid to snoop on their neighbours, one man was imprisoned for saying that he was fed up with all the pictures of hitler all around the place!

Main focus was on jews, however other gorups were also focused as well. These include but not limited to, and to no peticular order: Homosexuals, disabled, gypsies, political rivals (mainly communists), polish, Cossask (russinas), and several others.
