How much information do store owners receive from electronic card purchases?

Let's say I buy a TV from Walmart in store on visa.

How much information does Walmart receive about me.

Do they only receive my account number?

Or do they receive my name and/or my billing address.

They have your Visa account number from your card.

Unless you're having something mailed or delivered, they don't have, or need, your address.

They don NOT have your bank account number.

The transaction is handled by Visa, and that's who sends you the bill for your purchase.

Store owners likely don’t see anything but the first or last 4 digits of the card number. The machine that scans it picks up everything. That’s why criminals put skimmers on those machines to get all of the information on the card.
