Would the show Spongebob Squarepants have been as much successful if Spongebob had a deep bass masculine voice?

    I don't think so. His voice is cute and full of hope.

    I don't know. Spongebob is supposed to be a comedic, goofball character. A deep bass masculine voice might not have been a good fit- the show's creators probably thought that kind of voice coming out of Spongebob would frighten kids.

    That's probably why they gave Spongebob a Pee-Wee Herman-like voice and demeanor.

    No, his show was more successful than others for how long it lasted for airing new episodes.

    that's an interesting question! I'd like to know, too. If I had to guess, probably not. the high pitch voice sounds more happy and hyper and get's you excited, at least in my opinion.
