How can I find out my country of origins with a dna test?
- curtisports2Lv 76 months ago
You can't. The DNA tests break things down by regions, not by countries. Countries come into existence and go out of existence. Borders change.

You can't, no DNA test tells you anything about where in the world you were born......... look on your birth certificate or ask your mother

You cannot. DNA-ancestry-tests merely find people with bundles of DNA (you have 47 independently passed-on ones) identical to yours, if they happen to be in the company's database. usually you find distant cousins, not country of origin

Your country of origin is the country your were born in. All DNA testing can reveal it your ancestry.Source(s): Genealogical researcher 55+ years
