Invented the word gravity? Issac Newton coined the name yes and indentified its acceleration mathematically.

You are really talking mathematics and newton was very special in math.

Without him we really would only have addition and subtraction..

We'd be living in caves without a doubt and probably not even have soap.

Did they have fire before newton? Weren't they flint nappers that could barely sew hides together for clothing?

Carving stones to pile into things to 'invent' in the future.

I read in a number of old manuscripts that pre Newton most of Europe was bare assed naked, didn't even know what clothing was.

And considering the rest of the world wasn't much better.

    Vurgin? In those days? ROTFLMAO!

    propriety? MML

Thanks to Newton now there's glass for winders

    Soap to wash with

And yew all don't have to wear wrappings in subzero weather.

It's amazing how a simple saying alerted us to a part of physics that we could've realized via some other more dynamic event, or saying.

I think trying to relax under a tree's shade and getting bonked on top of the head with an apple kinda ticked him off, but in keeping his compsure... he simply said what he said... and the rest is history!

we would learn about a different names person who discovered it.

Nigo, Newton "discovered" what already existed; he didn't "invent" gravity. If he had not "discovered" it, the world would have been the same as it has always had gravity.

Newton put into words a principle that already existed. He didn't create a natural process, he articulated its existence.

Completely the same as it is now, only we would have had somebody else explain the concept of gravity.

Well, none of us would be here, having been flung off the earth in flight.

No one invented gravity. Gravity is a natural force in existence since time began. Newton put a name to it, and without his 'laws' on physics, the world would almost certainly be different - someone else would have made the discoveries he did.

I believe it is a joke question
