Oil Sensor Light?

A few weeks ago my vehicle was having overheating issues. My oil sensor light was also going off. I changed the oil and filter but still had overheating issues. Turns out my coolant reservoir tank was damaged and I needed it replaced. After getting it replaced my car stopped overheating, but my oil sensor light continued to go off despite the car having the correct amount of oil in it. What could be the issue?

You may have low oil pressure. How many miles on the engine? Or it might be the sensor.
