I’m a 23, black male and I want to attend college to become a middle school teacher. Eventually working my up to principal. Is it too late?

Although it's not to late, you need to cover both living expenses and education costs where middle school teacher pay scales are hard to recover those costs if done with loans. To anyone with a drive to succeed, you can use education and training as an extra to a job and it takes more time but it can still be accomplished.
Financially, you can do better in other fields in shorter time periods.

Of course it's not too late. 23 is very young. Get on with it!

Not at all. There are plenty of teaching programs which are accessible for people your age, and much older.

It's never too late to do anything you want to do. You could do it at 63 if you really wanted to...
... However I didn't say that it would be easy. But then again few things worth doing are.
