When I’m feeling sad how do I pivot my thoughts so that I can feel better?

What I do is completely crazy. I think of happy scenarios like In the future. Or sometimes put on music and just dance alone. there’s not much to life. so just do the weirdest sh*t that makes u happy. and focus more on what you’re doing in the moment than think about stuff. Like if you’re doing the dishes and overthinking, just go okay all I’m doing is washing the dishes I’m okay nothing bad is happening. Take one step at a time. Or try reaching out to a therapist. Therapy helps.

I usually watch a comedy and sit around nature. Trust me, it works. I have severe depression.
