Of course she did, silly. "Behold the handmaid of the Lord."

It's pretty clear that the Blessed Virgin Mary knew God pretty well, according to his grace - and she did give her informed consent - as clearly described in the Gospel of Saint Luke. Also, since she had already been officially betrothed to Saint Joseph, the out of wedlock argument is very weak.

  • I did not understand your meaning, in fact, I understood it because of @. WwwdotBibleSelectordotcom!

You are a bad person, you have so much evil that you will go to hell mercilessly!

Mary had been promised to marry Joseph, in fact, Joseph had believed that Mary had betrayed him, but an angel of God appeared to Joseph, and told him that this was the work of the Spirit of God. Joseph took Mary with him, and after she had given birth to the Lord Jesus, she had other children.

Of course. Look up the "Song of Mary," also known as the Magnificat. It is the prayer of acceptance she said (or sang) to give consent, and it is beautiful as well.

She was already engaged so she had already committed to the idea of sex and child birth - it was just she was given an additional baby on top of the babies she would produce with Joseph

Luke 1:38 - Mary gave her consent. "And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her."

Yes and actually Joseph and Mary was married when Jesus was born. So no child was born out of wedlock here

She probably did consent. If she didn't have faith, God would just have found someone else.
