When Serena Williams fought the ump at last years US Open she was accused of being coached from the stands. Her coach admitted this was true?

Update:

She was so adamant about never cheating I her life, bur it looks like she's a cheat and a liar as well. Should she apologize to tennis fans and her past opponents ?

Yes. Serena Williams (and her sister) have pulled this garbage for years, thanks to their father (who is a truly terrible person; a freeloading bully who, when his daughters finally quit playing will hopefully stop attending tournaments and fall off the earth) and people afraid of them (the sisters could quit tomorrow and women's tennis would continue to exist quite well). Serena is a bully on the scale of Jimmy Connors (another pile of trash in human form). Not sure what it is with Americans...

You seem to hate Americans in general.

Her coach admitted it and you could see it on camera, along with her looking right at him. She knew he didn’t just give her a thumbs up. She lied. Serena was completely in the wrong, but she will never admit it. She owes an apology to that umpire, Osaka, the US Open, the fans and women everywhere, but they will never hear it. She simply doesn’t have it in her. She’s a person of very poor character. As spoiled Serena escalated, the umpire was more patient than he should have been. She got what was coming to her. More importantly, she got beat, dominated. Then, when she realized she couldn’t justify her behavior, she did what many spoiled children do. She threw a tantrum and persisted in bating the ump. After all of that, when the match was over, she couldn’t leave well enough alone. She couldn’t let Osaka have her moment so she continued to make it about her. Her speech was a joke. “We’ll get through this”. We’ll get through this? You caused this Serena, all of it. #spoiledserena

Yes but she was also losing the match and resorted to going after the umpire to try to show up her opponent . No other female player acts like this on the WTA tour, she was completely in the wrong people who think she got screwed don’t know tennis

  • Williams should have and – that's the saddest thing – she probably thinks she did apologise. An apology means you admit you behaved like an аrsehole but last month Serena wrote to Naomi “I had no idea the media would pit us against each other”... Still not her fault.

To finally celebrate a major trophy poor Osaka had to win the Aussie Open, something she didn't even want to – that's why she fired coach Bajin. But that's another story.
