a ride to get back or a ride to get someone back?
Between these two sentences, which one is correct?
1) They offered his parents a ride to get back to a hotel.
2) They offered his parents a ride to get them back to a hotel.
Thank you!

Neither.
They offered his parents a ride back to their hotel.

Either is correct.
Also correct:
They offered his parents a ride back to a hotel.
Probably you should use "their hotel" rather than "a hotel"...but that's a matter of style and content (what you mean to convey), not a matter of grammar.
