I need advice?

A). Why is art so hard to define?

B). What is the most obscure things considered art?

C). What criteria do you establish when determining if an object is art or not?

    Art is hard to define because the artistic impulse arises from the depths of the unconscious--not only the personal unconscious but also the collective unconscious--and is thus shrouded in mystery. Not even the artist completely understands what he or she is doing; in fact, his understanding may be quite small.

    (Incidentally, 'advice' is not the correct word for this context.)

    If the person who creates it thinks it's art it's art. Maybe really bad, but how can we declare it "not art"?

    art is anything that art consumers are willing to accept and pay money for as if it were art

    seems pretty straightforward to me
