Question about Anthony Joshua?
I saw an interview with SKY where Joshua's saying that he doesn't respect Lennox Lewis and he thinks Lewis is a clown. Why is he saying that? Surely he must at least respect Lewis's record in the ring.

Lewis has known Wilder for a while. There is even a relatively old video where Wilder was trying to take some boxing tips off of Lewis and Lewis was teaching Wilder how to position himself and what stance to take when boxing. Add to that Lewis agreeing with Wilder that it was mainly AJ's fault that the AJ v Wilder fight didn't happen.
This has clearly annoyed AJ a bit and hence the reason he has kind of had a dig at Lewis.

He said it because Lewis has been publicly agreeing with Wilder in that it was AJs fault the fight between them didn't happen.
Spencer Fearon in an IFL interview told Umar that Lewis was interested in working with AJ after he won the Olympics and AJ flew out to JA to stay with Lewis for a short while and they had some discussions etc. and then AJ came back to the UK and then Lewis said they lost touch after that and AJ signed with Matchroom and maintained his training team and Lewis felt slighted that he didn't hear from AJ again.
It's Lewis' fault either way, AJ was just clapping back, AJ never said anything bad about Lewis until Lewis did first.
