Your local router should have come with a manual.

This contains a direct communication address (sometimes there is special software for this but mostly its just address). You enter this address into your internet browser and go to password. there you can change the password.

Be careful to not tinker with stuff that you do not understand around there tho.

You're going to have to go on to Google and find out what brand of router you have like for instance if you have a Netgear router there is an IP address that you put into your browser address bar that will take you to the router configuration page. bear in mind that you have to be plugged in to the router with a hard wire and ethernet wire and order to do this. Once you get to the page it's going to ask you for a password sometimes it's admin admin sometimes it's admin password. The Google web page will tell you what it happens to be. once you have entered your password and your username that's given to you. You'll be able to erase your old password and to change it. or to turn it off entirely so that you don't need a password to connect to the internet.

I'm guessing you're talking about your WiFi transmitter, yes? That you have forgotten the password and can't connect to it?

If my assumption's correct, here's what you do.

On almost all WiFi transmitters is a reset button that requires a thin piece of wire to press. With the WiFi utility application on your computer open, and ready to go, press the button with a piece of wire, or a pen tip, and wait to see the WiFi unit pop up in the window of the application. This will allow you to rename the WiFi transmitter and reset the password.

You will then have to go to all your other devices to reset the passwords on them.

    ---------------------------

Update: If you're talking about the internet router that provides internet service to your house, there should be a password sticker somewhere on the unit itself. If it isn't there, you will have to call the company to have a technician come out and reset it.

Look at your router instructions. You must sign into it. Here is how to find the address.
