check the size of your apartment and balloons.

Are you planning to inflate them first? How big are they when inflated? How many fit into a 5-gallon bucket? How many of those would it need to fill the apartment? You want it completely filled to the ceiling, which would be a fire-code violation, or simply deeper than a normal person's standing height?

Depends on the size of the balloon, don't it? And the size of the Apartment. Get one balloon and measure it when full. (Better if you had 4 because there is an air space between the round that has no balloon.) Now measure out the square footage of the apartment and the ceiling is 8 feet high? Some are 9 and some are 10 or more. Now you got the numbers...it is pocket calculator time.

If this is just meant as a joke on somebody...buy condoms and inflate them and really make her embarrassed. Oh, probably about 500 is a good start. You may need 10x's that many but 500 fills the entranceway.

A one square foot inflated balloon in a 1200 square foot apartment with eight foot ceilings = 9600 balloons.

You did not tell us how high the ceilings were. We would need the length, the width and the height to determine this. And the size of the balloons.

Not an answerable question. How big are the balloons and are they foil, latex or something else?
