Motorbike looses power when going down gears what could be wrong.?

Nearly everytime I go down gear the bike starts losing power when I try to pull over to see what's wrong the bike completely shuts off and struggles to start again. Any idea what could be wrong

It might help if you mentioned the make/model/year of your 'motorbike'.

I would start by checking the battery terminals - and get the battery charged and tested. Clean the terminals and cables really well, and make sure they are on tight (consider using some dielectric grease).

Check the clutch freeplay. Check the battery.

Power comes from either electricity or fuel

Check spark plug and spark plug wire.

And check fuel filter, it could be clogged.

Power Only comes from Burning the fuel. Juice only ignites it, doesn't "supply power". Engines need fuel, ignition, timing, compression, and vacuum.

    I have no idea.
