Can you help me with English plz?

We all have our measures of how obscenely normalized domestic terror has become.

What do these words "normalized" and "domestic" mean in this case?

'Normalized' means we see something as normal now. It's no longer exceptional. Homelessness has been normalized in the US. When we first began seeing homeless people, there was a big concern about it. But today they're in every big city and nobody even notices them. We no longer see homelessness as a failure of society.

'Domestic' means in this country. It's the opposite of 'foreign', as in domestic and foreign cars, domestic wine vs foreign wine, etc.
