Most likely it's a group of accounts, either sock puppets or a clique, who have decided not to mind their own business and report bombed you for something they don't like.

If it's individual words, that would be the Y.A. algorithms.

I think the answer is pretty common sense. How truthful or not the statement is has no bearing.

On this site they CAN sensor anything, they MAY sensor somethings that are questionable or receive too many flags, and they WILL sensor any kind of talk or discussions that are over the line.

There is a whole separate topic there on what is and what isn't over the line, or going too far or ruled unacceptable or "sensor-able".

    Maybe they could.....................

No, except for when it involves the usage of objectionable language, threatening/harassing other users, and incendiary remarks.

If you violate the Yahoo Answers Community Guidelines or Yahoo Terms of Service, your post is likely to be reported and removed. Even if you don't violate either of those, there are some users who may report your post anyway, and it may get removed.

The site is run by server computers that are incapable of caring about anyone's political, religious, ethnic, etc leanings. There are some posts that get hung up in the spam filter, but we don't know what triggers that or if it's random (it happens to users of all levels and either desktop or mobile devices). If you try to post a question using the percent symbol, it won't post (so spell it out). That symbol only posts in answers.

Remember your 'truth' might not be someone else's. The site is Community Moderated. No one working for Yahoo is watching posts here. Verizon Media (the company that runs Yahoo) doesn't appear to want to spend the money to pay the number of staff it would take to ensure everyone abides by the rules here (and many choose not to).

If you want to expand on what you mean by 'censure' (censure means express disapproval...did you mean to say 'censor'?) and what you saw or posted that you feel was censured (disapproved of), we might be able to give you an idea of whether or not the post was a violation.

If it's in violation of its Terms of Service or its Community Guidelines, then the post can be flagged and removed by YA community moderators who are users of YA like you and I. Any member of YA has the right to be a community moderator.

Sometimes - if you are sardonic, sarcastic or too vulgar.
