My body seems to mostly want to eat carbs (fruit, sometimes sugar). Is that ok?

And rice cakes.

I eat other stuff but seem to be most satisfied by the above mentioned and eat more of it.

    You need to eat more than just fruits and sugar. You need vegetables as well.
